About The WatchPaper

Published by THE PRESS OWNER, LLC, Dallas, Texas. LEI 549300LL0TL2ZCWGJT16.

The WatchPaper publishes a small number of pieces a day on the digital asset economy, sorted into four sections. It does not predict prices.

Three kinds of thing run here, and the page always says which it is. Our own reporting carries a byline and runs in full. The texts of financial regulators are works of government, carry no copyright, and run in full too. Wire items are a headline, the publisher’s own one-line summary, the time it was filed and their name on it — never their article, which is theirs.

Around a wire item we add what is ours: the companies and tokens it names, and where those assets actually stood at the moment you opened the page. Nothing on the site links out, so a headline here is never a doorway to somewhere else.

The directories are ours. Exchange ratings are editorial scores on a published method, weighted so that custody counts double — losing your assets outranks paying a wider spread.

The primer exists because most crypto explainers are written to sell something. Ours are written to be read once and then not needed again.
