Strive Adds 1,355 Bitcoin After $107.7 Million Purchase

Publicly traded Bitcoin treasury company Strive bought 1,355 BTC for about $107.7 million, lifting its holdings to 26,355 BTC at an average of $79,475 per coin.

Publicly traded Bitcoin treasury company Strive bought 1,355 BTC for about $107.7 million between September 14 and September 18. The purchase lifted its holdings to 26,355 BTC, according to a securities filing discussed in the company's latest update. Strive paid an average of $79,475 per coin, making the transaction another substantial increase in its balance-sheet exposure to Bitcoin.

The size of the holding puts Strive among the larger listed corporate Bitcoin owners, although it remains well behind Strategy. Treasury rankings can shift whenever companies raise capital or buy more coins. At the time of the update, Strive was also trailing Twenty One, Metaplanet and MARA. Its growing holdings make financing terms and share dilution as important to investors as the headline coin count.

The company reported about $21.2 million in gross proceeds from warrant exercises during the week. It has also used its SATA preferred stock to raise capital. Those funding channels allow Strive to keep accumulating Bitcoin without relying only on cash generated by its operating business. They also create different claims on the company that shareholders need to assess when evaluating Bitcoin held per share.

Strive's September purchase followed a period of renewed strength in Bitcoin's market price, but the filing records an acquisition price rather than a gain. The company's next disclosures will show whether it maintains the same buying pace and how much additional capital it can secure. For a treasury business, the enduring measure is the relationship between new Bitcoin acquired and the cost of financing those purchases.
