FX Back Office has partnered with Overchain to add stablecoin deposits and withdrawals to its brokerage software ecosystem. The integration includes conversion between digital currencies and fiat money, with settlement through brokers' existing banking infrastructure, targeting an operational gap between crypto payment flows and conventional account management.
Overchain combines stablecoin settlement, treasury management, over-the-counter execution, and compliance tools. FXBO customers can access the service within the software environment they already use. The companies are aiming to reduce the need for brokers to manage digital payments through a separate operational system.
For a brokerage, accepting a stablecoin is only one part of handling a deposit. The payment must also be converted when necessary, assigned to the correct customer, and reconciled with financial records. Connecting those steps can be more useful than adding another standalone payment button.
The partnership therefore focuses on how money moves through the business after a customer initiates a transaction. Its practical value will depend on adoption by brokers and the payment routes available to their clients. The announcement describes an infrastructure integration, rather than the launch of a new stablecoin.
