LBank introduces physical card linked to spot account balances

LBank has launched a physical payment card that allows eligible users to spend from their exchange spot-account balances at supported Visa merchants and ATMs. The product converts digital assets into the required transaction currency when a payment is made, reducing the need to fund a separate card wallet.
LBank has launched a physical payment card that allows eligible users to spend from their exchange spot-account balances at supported Visa merchants and ATMs. The product converts digital assets into the required transaction currency when a payment is made, reducing the need to fund a separate card wallet.
The exchange says the card supports Apple Pay and Google Pay. Its announced pricing includes a 0.8% spending fee, with no monthly, top-up, or foreign-exchange fees. Rewards can reach 10% cashback on qualifying transactions, so the advertised maximum is tied to eligibility and the relevant reward program.
The card adds another payment format alongside LBank Pay, the company's QR-based service. While the physical card uses established card acceptance, the QR product connects with selected local payment networks. Together, the products aim to make exchange-held assets usable in more conventional purchasing situations.
The launch illustrates how an exchange can extend beyond trading by connecting balances to everyday spending. The practical experience depends on supported locations, payment acceptance, and account eligibility. The main product change is the direct link to the spot account, with conversion handled during the transaction rather than through a separate manual step.
